I think we might just win the League now. More time wasting. We need to consider our options to stop the thugs in Govan

Normal service has been resumed after yesterday afternoon’s game against St Mirren. Another good three points, and another three goals for us, and a clean sheet, can’t get much better than that. Great to see Luke Mc Cowan getting a start and another couple of assists as well, and what can you say about Nicolas Kuhn, another two great goals, it’s just a pity he didn’t get his second right from the quick throw from Kasper, and the great run from Luke. It was a good all round display by Celtic, we needed that after the poor display on Thursday at Snake Mountain, I was going to say “Disappointing” but I think a certain right back has the copy write on that word.

Another Celtic game, another novice referee in Grant Irvine, and another ninety minutes of deliberate time wasting by the goalkeeper, in this case Saints Zach Hemming. Even when the Saints were three down the goalie is still wasting time, it’s absolutely shocking, and it’s a deliberate tactic, to firstly reduce the amount of time the ball is in play, and secondly to give their players a rest after chasing around trying to win it back. Celtic need to demand that referees take action early when appropriate, only when they start to issue yellow cards will the practice stop. No wonder people from other football countries laugh at the amateur way our game is run. Get it sorted, and get it sorted now.

I didn’t see the game on Thursday, my Daughter was in hospital so I was out visiting her, and I don’t have any wish to watch any footage of it, the only bits I saw were on the news. Every Celtic supporter is saying it was a poor display, but we were still eleven points ahead after it. To the deluded supporters of the deid club who thought they could still win the league after Thursday, well you just lost the League again yesterday. After losing only one game in the first half of the season, we would now need to lose five games in the second half of the season to lose the League, that would also need Sevco to win every game.

After Thursday we seriously need to consider how we deal with the continued attacks on our players when we play over in Govan, it’s at every game now, and we certainly cannot depend on their Board to sort it, we need to sort it. We have erected nets at Celtic Park to protect their thugs, and I believe they have done the same over at Snake Mountain. The problem is, that does not protect our players, they would need to erect nets at the front of their supporters to effectively stop them throwing objects at our players, they would probably get the ball boys to do it then.

Although we are not completely innocent at Celtic when it comes to throwing objects, we are at amateur level, while the thugs over Govan way would be Champions league level in that regard. When we look back to the broken glass in our penalty box, to one of our medical staff getting hit with a bottle thrown from the hospitality area, and Leigh Griffiths getting hit with a battery. One of their clowns actually ran onto the pitch and tried to attack Celtic captain Scott Brown, when he shat it when he got to Broonie, he was allowed to run back into the stand and take his seat again. It’s just a pity when they let their club die, that they didn’t just stay deid, but what they did was come back as a “Newco” and if anything, their so-called supporters are worse than the first mob were.
Glasgow’s still Green & White.
