Great three points. Three more of the same will do us. The Officials were hopeless, but that’s not a surprise.

Yesterday was a very good victory at Easter Road, although we once again made it harder than it should have been. At this stage of the season it’s a case of just win, no matter how, but yesterday gave us an opportunity to claw back the goal difference with our two rivals for the Title. We started well and should have been at least a couple of goals up even before the Hibs red card, which not surprisingly was missed by David Dickenson and Tory Muppet Douglas Ross, Ross also managed to have no hesitation waving his flag for offside against Daizen for the first goal, rightly overturned by VAR.

VAR then managed to come to the wrong decision when allowing the Hibs equaliser, every commentator agreed that the ball hit Newell’s arm/hand, not once but twice, but Don Robertson failed to see it with multiple camera angles at his disposal. Dickenson and Robertson also failed to call for a penalty when Yang was pushed to the ground inside the box, there was also a penalty call in the first half when the Hibs keeper took out Diazen, right in line with Ross and Dickenson. These decisions are going to continue in the three remaining games, and I expect them to get worse, “Operation Stop Celtic” is in top gear.

Back to the football, we started the game well and had a lot of possession, obviously the new “Buzz Bomb” was giving the Hibs defence a hard time, and Daizen had a couple of great chances, maybe the worst thing to happen was the Hibs red card, we seemed to take our foot of the gas after that, and Hibs backed off into a five and four defence, which we struggled to penetrate, and started playing too many square and backwards passes. The way to get the best out of Daizen’s electric pace. is to play the ball early to him when he has space to run into, but we don’t seem brave enough to take the pass on.

Although we appeared to be holding on a bit at the end, I thought it was a comfortable win, the disappointment was that we didn’t score more goals. It was brilliant to see Alistair Johnston back, he had an outstanding hour on the pitch, and showed us how much we have missed him for the last few months. I’m not criticising big Shetland Pony, but AJ is far more comfortable on the ball, and gives us a lot more going forward. It was also great for Arne Engels to get another game under his belt, he will be crucial alongside Callum in our midfield. What can you say about kelechi Iheanacho? How we all wish he was fit enough to start and finish games, he is a natural goal scorer, and without his input we wouldn’t be going for the double.

Three more games to try to win the league, two at Celtic Park, you can’t ask for any more than that. A lot of my mates are talking about what would best suit Celtic in terms of result between our challengers tonight at the Mini Bigotdome. I suppose a draw suits us best, meaning if we win our remaining games then we are Champions, I never wish for anything but defeat for those two clubs, but obviously something has to give tonight. It was comical to listen to some of the Tax Dodging ex Oldco players feigning outrage at Celtic’s stance on denying the Onion Bears entry into Celtic Park on Sunday, maybe if the Newco Club had dealt with them previously, the carnage they created in the recent cup tie wouldn’t have happened. Celtic never denied Newco tickets, they denied entry to the muppets who caused the trouble at Snake Mountain tickets. Now they are slaughtering the SPL for the decision, Celtic Football Club is responsible for the Health & Safety of all supporters attending Celtic Park, obviously allowing entry to a crowd of half-wits with a track record of causing trouble could lead to putting other supporters in danger, I’m pretty sure there will be at least some if not all of them in attendance, so let’s see if Glasgow’s Finest do their job for once.
Glasgow’s still Green & White.
