Celtic Fans Outperform the Team in the Bring Martin Home Appeal
[SIZE=3:66cd98af]Once again the Celtic fans have outperformed the team, this time it was in the form of the collection for the Bring Martin Home Appeal on Saturday at the match versus Motherwell.[/SIZE:66cd98af]
[SIZE=3:66cd98af]The committee had plenty of volunteers out around Celtic Park, they expected to raise somewhere in the region of £5,000 but once again the generosity of the Celtic supporters came to the fore, they managed to raise double that, the total raised on the day was a magnificent £10,002,39p, a big thank you to all who contributed, and to all the volunteers who took part.[/SIZE:66cd98af]
[SIZE=3:66cd98af]The committee are closing in on their target of the £50,000 needed to get Martin home by Christmas, there are two more functions which need the support of the fans, the first one is a night being organised by Andy Watt from Celtic Quick News, its being held in the Balmaise Centre, in Leven, Fife on Saturday October 31st and features Shebeen, tickets costing £10 can be had from [/SIZE:66cd98af][EMAIL="Andrew.watt16@btinternet.com"][SIZE=3:66cd98af][COLOR=#0000ff:66cd98af]Andrew.watt16@btinternet.com[/COLOR:66cd98af][/SIZE:66cd98af][/EMAIL:66cd98af]
