Is it Time to give Darren O'Dea Another Chance?

Postby John Kane » Sat Apr 21, 2012 2:06 pm

Now that we have the chance to assess our squad ahead of next season's campaign, it surely wouldn't do any harm to bring O'Dea back into the picture, now he's returned from Leeds. Given that he played 38 games for them this season in a very competitive league and the fact that he won things with us previously, maybe he's worthy of another chance. Let's suppose he plays in most if not all remaining games and shows up well. Then perhaps he's worthy of a new contract. I've always personally liked him and, hey, look what Charlie Mulgrew has proved about returning players.

At a loss though about Juarez. He cost a fair amount. Is he really a flop or again could we give him one last chance, or at least put him in the shop window and get some return on our investment in the transfer market?

i would say no surely a club like ours can go to the likes of scandanavia, germany etc and get a couple of centre backs thats played together for a couple of years and understand how to punt a ball out the box,we are not asking much
