"Wish Lists are for Christmas !!!!"

Postby Joe O'Rourke » Mon May 10, 2010 2:11 pm

Neil lennon said when he started the job as interim manager that he is pragmatic, I’m glad he said that, and I hope it’s true; because if he gets the Celtic Managers job and starts talking about bringing players in he might get his eyes opened; because as a famous Irish Republican, the late Brian Keenan once said “Wish Lists Are for Christmas”.[/SIZE:de021995]
[/SIZE:de021995]
So how does Lenny fund his plans to bring in the players he will need to bring the championship back to it’s rightful home at Celtic Park? There are several ways of doing it; but being pragmatic there is probably only really one way to do it.[/SIZE:de021995]

With a bit of luck lenny will be backed in the same manner martin o'neill was when he came in selling any of those 3 would not help because you need to get in better players. a dont think where that far away from a good team guys like sammy, fortune and the loans can go and wages saved should free up a bit of cash ontop of what transfer kitty we have so a dont think its all doom and gloom. its been a hard season but a seen worse and with whats happening over at the shame a think we'll be ready to go for it next season. just KTF bhoys hail hail.

Lenny must get the job for anyone else to be parachuted into the job would be a joke.

Fair enough the disgrace in the scottish cup is a large black mark against his name but lets not kid ourselfs on he won 8 straight league games using the same squad that Mowberry struggled to win with...

I expect new faces, top of the list is a solid left back with naylor likely to leave, this is a position that must be filled.... for too many seasons this has been a major headache for us. Altho naylors peformance against the unmentionables was note worthy over the years there has been one to many error from the wee man and the dutch bomb scare, dont get ma cardiologst started.
