Celtic Charity Supporters Committee have organised a sponsored cycle from Celtic Park to Cardenden which takes place on Sunday 15th[/SIZE:566fe931] September. The cycle idea came from the highly successful 80th[/SIZE:566fe931] anniversary Pilgrimage walk to Cardenden and a similar cycle event which took place this time last year.
The cycle will end in Cardenden, hometown of Celtic legend John Thomson who passed away 82 years ago this week. The cyclists will complete the cyclists will complete the event with a wreath laying ceremony in Bowhill Cemetery at John’s grave.
The event is raising funds for Celtic Charity’s 1254125 campaign – challenging all supporters to raise £125 for Celtic Charity during the clubs 125th[/SIZE:566fe931] anniversary year. All funds raised during this special year will be used to support projects involving the most vulnerable in society at home and abroad.
