Following on from recent comments regarding the Police harassment of Celtic Supporters both home and away, John Andrews (Association President) and I met with Peter Lawwell and Celtic’s head of Operations Ronnie Hawthorn last Friday November 30th[/SIZE:bd8e0f2a].

We have a very good discussion about the way issues are handled, including the one regarding a member of the Govan Emerald CSC, which was resolved amicably. The clubs position is that any complaints will be rigorously investigated.

We agreed that any issue of unfair treatment of supporters should in the first instance be reported through the FAC (Fans Against Criminalisation) group, FAC can be emailed at fansagainstcriminalisation@gmail.com[/COLOR:bd8e0f2a][/EMAIL:bd8e0f2a] if the complainer is a member of any of main Supporters organisations, they should report it there also.

FAC is an amalgamation of the five main supporters groups, The Celtic Supporters Association, The Green Brigade, The Affiliation of Registered Celtic Supporters Clubs, The Association of Irish Celtic Supporters Clubs, and The Celtic Trust.

Once again the support for our team this season has been magnificent, none more so than at the recent Champions league match against Barcelona, which received praise from every country in Europe, hopefully we can get close to that atmosphere tomorrow night against Spartak.

Finally, Rod Stewart has a new single out on December 9th[/SIZE:bd8e0f2a], the proceeds from “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” will be split between The Teenage Cancer Trust and The Celtic Charity Fund, please support these two very worthy causes by buying the single.
