I have been asked by Celtic to pass on this important information for those supporters travelling to Inverness on Saturday, as you can see, there is quite a bit of activity up north this saturday.

Celtic supporters travelling to Saturdays Clydesdale Bank Premier League Fixture at Inverness are asked to allow sufficient time for the 12:45hrs kick off.
The Johnnie Walker Golf event is taking place at Gleneagles and together with the International Horse Trials at Blair Athol both eventsl will cause delays travelling north.
Police ask that supporters travelling south following the fixture avoid stopping at Aviemore as a motor cycle event involving over 2000 machines will create traffic management issues in the town
The stadium will open at 11:30hrs and supporters are asked to access the stadium as quickly as possible on arrival.

Celtic fans travelling to the game are urged not to take flares or any other pyrotechnics into the ground.
Smoke set off in a football stadium is not safe and may adversely affect persons who suffer from breathing disorders. In recent events flares have also inadvertently caused seats to burn and may obviously have serious consequences if flags are ignited.
Police are rightly treating this issue very seriously and any persons caught with flares in the ground or attempting to bring them into the stadium will be arrested
Both Inverness and Celtic Football Club views the introduction of smoke to any ground as unsafe, this is a very serious health and safety matter and any persons identified as responsible may be subject to Club sanctions
Our priority is the safety of all our supporters and we thank you for your assistance and co-operation with the above
Northern Police advise that spot checks will be carried out on supporter’s buses travelling to the ground in relation to the carriage of alcohol. Other Police Forces have also intimated buses will be stopped in their particular area.
Supporters are remind that is an offence to attempt to enter or be within a football stadium while under the influence of alcohol
