[COLOR=#000000:3e168586]I am delighted to welcome Neil Lennon’s three new players to the home of football; Celtic Park; I’m sure Mikael Lustig, Rabiu Ibrahim, and if he comes in this month Jaroslaw Pojut will be great additions to the great squad we already have at our disposal.[COLOR=#000000:3e168586]There takes our first team playing squad to over 40 outfield players; and while I am not complaining about having cover in every position; it does use up valuable resources paying players who have little or no chance of playing.[COLOR=#000000:3e168586]Maybe the Board have learned the lesson of January 2009 when we failed to sign a striker and eventually lost the league because of that fact; what makes it worse is that the team that has won the last 3 titles have done so while supposedly on their financial knees.[COLOR=#000000:3e168586]We have seven senior players out on loan; you would have to assume that if you are a senior player and out on loan; then the manager doesn’t see you as part of his plans for the future; then again; if there are no offers to buy these players then it makes sense to get them off the wage bill by sending them on loan.[COLOR=#000000:3e168586]We have a really strong squad just now; and if we were free from injuries we could pick 2 very strong teams; for example; in 4-4-2 formation; what about these 2 teams.[COLOR=#000000:3e168586]Forster ,[COLOR=#000000:3e168586]Mathews, Rogne, Fojut (if he comes in January), Izaguirre[COLOR=#000000:3e168586]Brown, Wanyama, Ledley, Forrest[COLOR=#000000:3e168586]Hooper, Stokes.

[COLOR=#000000:3e168586]Substitutes from - Majstorovic, M Wilson, Jaurez, Mc Ginn, Murphy, O’Dea, Blackman, Mc Geouch, Cha, Bangura.[COLOR=#000000:3e168586]Two pretty strong teams in any decent league; I know some of these players are out on loan; but they are our players; and I have deliberately not picked the young untried players.[COLOR=#000000:3e168586]I don’t think Lenny is finished in the transfer market just yet; he has said all along that he wants another striker; but it we don’t lose any of our first pick players like Hooper, Stokes, Kayal, or Ki; I think we should be strong enough to maintain our position at the top of the league.

Not bad, but your point about not signing strikers is highlighted. Of the 4 strikers accross the 2 teams, 1 is now making a name for himself as a wide player, whilst the otehr new signing i understand is a creative central midfielder. Bangura just on the bench - be happy with another forward i think.
